How to
Go to Sales → Sales Pipeline → Quotes. Route: sales/sales.quotes-table-with-pivoting.
- On the quote row, under Options, choose Update. That opens Edit quote (
sales/sales.edit-quote), in the modal Update Quote. - Opening the modal runs Retrieve quote data entry (
sales/sales.retrieve-quote-data-entry), so the form shows this quote. - Change what you need. The tabs are Key information, Shipping & Billing, Lead information, Internal notes, Customer notes, documents, and Financials.
- Press Save. That runs Update sales quote document (
sales/sales.update-sales-quote-document).
You should see the quote saved on the same row. Status stays as it was. This save does not write a new status.
Check
The same quote number is still on the row, and Status is unchanged from before you pressed Save.
If this fails
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You saved, and Status is the same | Update sales quote document stores the quote and does not set a status | Set the status from the row, under Status change, on Quotes |
