Update a price list

Change the name, effective dates, customer group, or warehouse scope of an existing list. Item prices are managed separately in its item rows.

  1. Open Sales → Sales Configuration → Pricing → Price lists. Match the list name and scope before choosing Update.
  2. In Update price list, change Price list name, the warehouse rows, Customer group, Start date, or End date as agreed.
  3. Review the current scope and dates together. A list meant for a particular group and warehouse should still describe that intended audience after your change.
  4. Choose Update price list.
  5. Reopen Update on the same list and compare the saved name, group, warehouses, and dates with your intended changes. Check its row status separately; saving details is distinct from choosing Activate or Disable.

Use Edit price list items when the change concerns a product, quantity band, or new price on an item row, or when you need to inspect its displayed discount and net price. Updating the list's group is not a reason to assume every account's existing assignments changed; inspect the affected customer account when checking pricing.

Before activating or continuing to use a revised list, compare its item rates with a representative customer and quantity. The price-list explanation explains the related checks and the effect of deleting a list and its child rows.
