Update Market

You save a change on a market that already exists. A market groups leads into a cohort and can sit under a parent market, and it can be linked from Opportunities and from your CRM apps.

Update Market​

  1. Go to Sales → Sales Configuration → Markets. On the market, choose Update.
  2. Update market opens. Retrieve data entry for Market loads the market. On sales pipeline markets basics, change Market name, Description, or Parent market.
    • Parent market sets whether this market belongs to a larger parent market.
  3. Press Save. Update existing data entry for Market writes the market.
    • Save does not change Active (active), Inactive (inactive), or Draft (draft).

You should see the market name, description, and parent market you saved.

Open Update again if you need a different change. Saving does not keep the earlier name, description, or parent market.
