Markets
Active is the default. One branch sets Inactive. One updates the status without a named value. One removes the entry.
A market groups leads into a cohort, and it can sit under a parent market. Active (active) is the default status.
You choose Disable Market. The status it had to leave is not named. The market takes Inactive (inactive), and it stays on this screen.
You choose Reactivate market. The value it writes is not named, and the status it had to leave is not named. The market stays on this screen with that updated status.
Draft (draft) is a status on the market. Nothing on this screen sets it.
How it moves
- Create Market — Create market adds the market, and it can sit under a parent market
- Update Market — Update keeps the name, description, and parent market you save
Open Sales → Sales Configuration → Markets.

These stay on the market. None of them name the status the market must already be in.

The chain stops on this screen. An opportunity can name this market, or name it as a submarket, and that opportunity can name a lead. This screen does not create the opportunity or the lead.
